A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Xuehua Zhong in the Department of Genetics at University of Wisconsin-Madison (http://zhonglab.genetics.wisc.edu). The Zhong lab utilizes a combination of molecular, genetic, biochemical, proteomic, and genomic approaches to understand the molecular mechanisms and biological roles of epigenetic modifications in plants. Highly motivated individuals with strong background in plant genetics, biochemistry and computational biology and a record of scientific productivity are encouraged to apply. Candidates with their PhD degrees within two years and at least one first-authored publication from their PhD work are required. Previous experience of genomic analyses (RNA-seq and ChIP-seq) will be highly advantageous.
