The Department of Pathology at The Ohio State University, Wexner Medical Center invites the application of outstanding scientists for tenure track/tenured faculty positions at the Assistant//Professor levels. We are seeking highly motivated individuals with demonstrated potential for creativity and excellence who are using , cellular and system biology approaches to study immunology and pathogenesis of human diseases including infectious disease and cancer. The successful candidate should have an MD, MD/PhD, PhD, or equivalent degree, a demonstrated record of achievement as evidenced by current-grant funding and/or publication in leading journals.

The mission of the department is to build an academic pathology program recognized as a national leader in high quality diagnostics, research and education by leveraging state of the art emerging technology, applying new knowledge to meet patient needs, and leading research and educational endeavors. The new faculty member will be expected to be an active participant in advancing this mission by maintaining an impactful independent research program with extramural support, developing scientific collaborations with existing programs (e.g., and, participating in the teaching activities for medical and graduate students. Individuals must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
