In line with the on-going development of undergraduate and postgraduate training, and of the expanding clinical services provided by its Hospital, UCD wishes to recruit a  (above the bar) in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care based in the UCD School of .

Applicants must hold a degree in veterinary medicine registrable with the Veterinary Council of or a specialist degree with which an application for limited registration with the Veterinary Council (seewww.vci.ie) could be made. The successful applicant must ideally be an active specialist in Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care or have a demonstrated ability and willingness to obtain such specialist qualification in a timely manner following appointment. In addition, candidates holding related qualifications (such as companion animal internal medicine) are also invited to apply.

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
