Key responsibilities
- Contribute to development and validation of in-vivo assays in behavioral pharmacology related to psychiatric and neurodegenerative disorders
- Participate in evaluation of efficacy of various compounds in these assays
Main tasks
-Independently planning and running experiments
- Interpretation and analysis of experimental data
- Delivery of appropriate and timely reports on results
- Responsibility for the maintenance of the equipment
- General organization of the laboratory
Education and experience requirements
- Undergraduate or master’s degree in biology, biotechnology or neuroscience
- Hands-on experience in models and assays of behavioral pharmacology
- Basic statistical analysis skills
- Industry experience of >3 years with in-vivo models of CNS disorders is preferable
- Good communication skills in English and basic spoken French
- The successful candidate is a highly motivated team player with excellent organizational skills
