Salary: 27,183-35,469 pa

The Wellcome Trust Centre for Stem Cell Research provides outstanding scientists with the opportunity to undertake ground-breaking research into the fundamental properties of mammalian stem cells.
Applications are invited for a post-doctoral research fellow to join the research team of Prof. Austin Smith.
Candidates will have a strong background in mammalian neurodevelopment and in particular development of the ventral midbrain. Expertise in embryonic stem cell and neural stem cell culture is also essential. Knowledge of Parkinson’s disease will be an advantage.
Applicants must hold a PhD and have at least 3 years post-doctoral experience in a neurobiology laboratory. You will join a team or students and researchers and should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
The post is funded by the MRC.
