Applications are invited for a in the group of Sten Eirik Jacobsen in the Haematopoietic Stem Laboratory. The position is available fixed-term for 24 months, funded by Bloodwise and the Karolinska Institute.

The position will specifically be dedicated towards investigation and characterisation of the haematopoietic stem and progenitor cell defects in mouse models of myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS).

Applicants will hold a PhD (or be close to completion) in haematopoiesis or , together with relevant experience. Extensive knowledge and previous experimental experience in studies of mouse models of normal and malignant haematopoiesis is essential. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, organisational skills to plan experimental bench-work and the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently when required.
