Employer Engagement Project Officer
(Part time, 50% fte, fixed term for 17 months)
The Faculty of Biological Sciences offers a range of Masters Bioscience courses. We are currently working on an exciting new initiative to establish links between an extensive network of employer organisations and our MSc courses leading to a range of joint activities including work placements for students and involving employers in curriculum design and course delivery. We are looking for a Project Officer to develop links between employers of biological science graduates in industry, government and non-government organisations, locally and nationally. You will have experience of working across the University and employer interface; educated to PhD level in science or a relevant subject area have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills and have an appropriate scientific background. This post provides an exciting opportunity to get involved in enhancing the delivery of MSc training and contributing to postgraduate student success.
University Grade 7 (£29,853 – £35,646 p.a.pro rata)
It is likely that the appointment will be made at spinal point 30, £29,853 p.a, as there are funding limitations which dictate this.
