The University of Neuchâtel, , offers the position of:

A Full professor (professeur ordinaire) in Biology of arthropod vectors of pathogens

The candidate is expected to have a strong research background which complements well with the interests of the Institute. He/she will have an experience in the biology of vectors of pathogens focused on the physiology of ectoparasites, capable to combine both field and laboratory methods and showing an international recognized research program. He/she is asked to teach comparative , and at the bachelor level, plus specialized courses in his/her research field of the master in Biology of Parasites and Ecoethology.

Full chair (6 hours weekly teaching in French and English, research activities as well as administrative tasks).

Starting date: February 1, 2010 or date to be discussed.
