Duties: The functions of a member of the academic staff include: a) teaching b) scholarly activities revealed by research; c) academic service activities, d) supervision of graduate students. Preference will be given to Earth scientists that can teach and/or contribute to the environmental science program. Potential to collaborate with other members of the department and make use of the extensive laboratory facilities are also criteria that will be considered during the selection process.

Skill requirements:

Education: Ph.D. or equivalent in Earth and Environmental Sciences.
Work experience: A demonstrated excellent research record in Earth and Environmental Sciences. A commitment to teaching and graduate training, a strong record in and a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, excellent communication skills in English and French. The candidate will be expected to teach in French at the time of hiring.
