Geotechnology Technical – Sydney
$100K plus
Government Career
Mixture of hands on and geotech as well as management of a team of 10
Our client is a government department involved with infrastructure building and they need you to take over from someone who is retiring.
This is a challenging role where you will be utilising your strong and geotechnical expertise as well as your management and report writing skills.
Combining field work, supervision and management you will spend about 90% of your time in a technical capacity and about 10% administration.  You will have about 10 people reporting to you and you will be responsible for their ongoing training as well as supervising and motivating their work.
This will be a demanding career and your ability to juggle different projects and work with clients will be well utilised.
You will be well supported by your colleagues and management.
As this is a government job you must always work within government guidelines and they can support your on going training in areas of benefit to your work.

You must have:
Recognised degree in , Geotech or similar
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Hands on and geotech experience
Experience managing teams including Drilling Crews, Geotechnicians, admin and other staff
High energy and ability to self motivate and motivate others
Ability to juggle projects and changing priorities
Current drivers licence
Ability to go out into the field when necessary
