Job Code/Title : E1382:Electronics Engineer
Job Description : An Electrical Engineer with the ATLO Test Systems EGSE/STE group will work as part of a team of hardware and software engineers in the complete development lifecycle of Special Test Equipment (STE) supporting various lines of business (LOBs) The candidate is expected to have hardware design skills, fundamental software skills, and to have knowledge of requirements generation, product development, test execution and verification activities. Candidate will be expected to develop a proficiency in writing software in applications commonly used in STE: LabVIEW, TestStand, ATEasy, and Python. In addition, candidate will be encouraged to develop a proficiency in circuit board design (schematic capture and board layout), elementary mechanical design, and FPGA logic design. To support on-the-job training and career development, coaching will be provided to the candidate by senior engineers within the group.
BS degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Demonstrated Special Test Equipment (STE) electrical design expertise Strong oral and written communication skills Demonstrated problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation Proficient with Microsoft Office products General systems engineering knowledge
Virtual Rack (VR) / LabView script and associated (acceptance test) procedures PCB/Custom Chassis test/debug Emphasis on RF experience RF Measurement Instrumentation Security clearance Master’s Degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
