The Adrian College Mathematics Department announces a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level or higher beginning fall 2016. The department seeks a candidate with a strong desire to teach and an eagerness to work with undergraduate students.
Responsibilities of the position include curriculum development, advising, scholarly activity, and departmental and college service. The typical teaching load is twelve credit hours per semester over a wide range of undergraduate mathematics courses. Candidates must have earned a Ph.D. in Mathematics by August 2016. Submissions will be viewed beginning March 31, 2016 and will continue until the position is filled. Applications should include a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching statement, research statement, and at least three letters of reference, one of which should address the applicant’s teaching ability.
