Rowan University invites applications for a full time, tenure track
Assistant Professor line which will be assigned half to the Department of Mathematics and half to
the soon to be developed Department of Biomedical Engineering and Translational Biomedical Sciences.
Qualifications:
PhD in Applied Mathematics or a closely related field is required.
Published research is required and some of these publications must reflect mastery of mathematically
modeling cardiomyopothy. A postdoctoral experience in a biomathematics or bioengineering field is
required. Teaching experience is required and must include teaching partial differential equations.
The ability to read linux code is required. The ability to participate in the development of
graduate level data mining program must be demonstrable.
Starting Date: September 1, 2012
