The Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University (LKSOM)/Center for Metabolic Research Center (CMDR) seeks to recruit a basic science for tenure-tracked department position. The applicant will have M.D., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D. degrees; have completed rigorous training; and have demonstrated the ability to develop an independent, extramurally-funded research laboratory. The ideal candidate will have expertise and have applied cutting-edge approaches in studying biochemical basis of metabolic diseases, including hyperlipidemia, obesity, diabetes, uremia, and metabolic syndrome.
