Two dynamic Lecturer/Snr Lecturers are sought for the recently established School of Health Sciences in the College of Health. These full-time ongoing positions will be located on Wellington campus and require staff with fundamental knowledge in the Biological Science disciplines of physiology, pathophysiology and biochemistry. A PhD degree in the biological sciences or equivalent is necessary. Expertise in an applied science area that relates to human health such as microbiology, chemistry, toxicology, environmental health or other, would be ideal.
The School of Health Sciences includes staff with expertise across a range of disciplines including Biomedical Sciences, and Public Health which includes Environmental Health, Health Promotion and Occupational Health and Safety. Building on your own specialisation you will pursue an active research programme that contributes to the research portfolio of the School of Health Sciences and College of Health. You will contribute to the teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the School of Health Sciences.
