Clinical Lecturer/Honorary Specialty Registrar

The University of Dundee Dental School is keen to attract an enthusiastic individual with an active interest in Dental Public Health, including teaching, research and clinical responsibilities. This post has been approved for specialty training in Dental Public Health. Where an applicant does not have a PhD they will be expected to undertake research leading to one. In addition, the post holder will undertake an MDPH unless they already hold an appropriate qualification. Salary will be on the Clinical Lecturers scale and will be dependent on qualifications and experience.
The appointment is for up to six years.
Applicants must have full registration with the General Dental Council and have a minimum of 2 years foundation training or equivalent. Training will be based within University of Dundee Dental School, the Dental Health Services Research Unit and NHS Tayside and will involve working with Dental Public Health Consultants at several local NHS Boards. The successful applicant will be subject to health clearance and Disclosure Scotland/PVG checks. An honorary NHS contract will be issued.

This is a full time post for a period of 6 years.
Please note that the salary that can be appointed to is capped at £46,708.
