The Latin American Congress of Biophysics (LAFeBS Congress) will be held in Buzios, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil from October 24-27, 2012. This Congress is organized by the Latin American Federation of Biophysical Societies (LAFeBS). Registration and Abstract submission can be made via the Congress website – details below.
Before the Congress, there will be the IUPAB Latin American Postgraduate Program of Biophysics (POSLATAM) Course. The idea is to have the general biophysics methods classes for students to prepare them to attend the LAFeBS Congress.
POSLATAM is a successful Regional initiative of IUPAB together with LAFeBS, and there are already about 300 students adhered to the Program from different countries in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Venezuela and Uruguay).
